LONGING WHERE I DON’T BELONG

Longing Where I Don’t Belong is a personal long-term project and an attempt to understand memory, time, distance, and loss, encountering the idea of the agonizing longing for whatever one cannot possess at the moment. Longing for a memory that once was, or may yet be. A place that once existed or may yet exist. A person that once was here, or may yet be here. A sense of absolute tediousness and melancholic nostalgia that impels one not to take one’s surroundings as they are but to look beyond them in an attempt to formulate a sense of belonging, which doesn’t always seem to succeed.
